I don't like closed in slippers, and I've tried a bunch that aren't closed in. This is my favorite by far. Easy on and off and soft with just the right amount of cushening for me.These slippers are too wide for my average width feet. I wear a medium in a shoe and if I wear these slippers with socks they're okay, but with bare feet they slip right off as I step forward. I definitely wouldn't wear them on stairs. They are comfortable as far as fabric - except there's a very scratchy label right by the arch - and there is plenty of cushion. One last issue is that they can't go in the dryer and when you wash them they don't dry overnight. I wouldn't purchase these again.Bought these because It looked like the heel had a slight wedge, and they looked cushy. Unfortunately, the top of the slipper was too high and was too far above my foot. The also felt flat, like walking on cardboard. No support at all. Amazon was kind enough to refund me. I am donating them.I love these slippers so much!! They are very comfortable but clearly not quality made to rip so quickly. Disappointed.I wear slippers all the time in the house (and sometimes outside). I'm hard on slippers so when I see a nice pair, I order them. These Deafoams are very nice. They are comfy with a good amount of padding. They are also cute and great to wear in the summer. The only issue is that they are a little on the large size. They are just a bit too long, which wouldn't bother me if they weren't also too wide. My foot tends to slide right through. I wear a size 9 shoe and ordered a 9-10. I'm going to keep these slippers even though I can't wear them everyday. On the days when my feet swell, they will probably fit just fine.These are really cute slippers with sturdy soles (indoor/outdoor). I ordered a LARGE (9-10). The footbed is plush, and the upper is a "waffle material." I love the color! I usually wear an 8.5 WIDE (D) width, so I tend to size up. I have a different style of Dearfoams in a Large that are slightly big on me, but they work (and I love them).These, though, are just too long to comfortably walk in. They really, in my opinion, would work best for someone with a true 9-10 size, with narrow or maybe regular width feet. The upper is a bit on the tighter side. This can be good for indoor-outdoor wear (so they don't slip off). Also, one can anticipate that the upper will stretch a little. For someone like me, with wide feet, though, it seems a little too tight.I hope this helps! Again, these are cute, sturdy, and nicely made; they are just probably best for someone with more slender 9-10 feet!
