I do custom sewing for a living, and I would not go without this product! I love it! It prevents any melting of synthetic fabrics and burning of cotton fabrics! You dont have to adjust the heat when switching which type of fabric you are working on! I love it.I will say that the ties do get loose after a little while, making the cover slide around a bit. However I purchased a small toggle clip for a drawstring (not sure what exactly they are called) at my local fabric store. Now I can put on and take off very easily by just adjusting the toggle. And the cover no longer moves around and is very secure. Not sure why they did not include this on the product in the first place.
