... but needs a liner if you don't want the edge of the tub to be wet. Only a small amount of water hit the floor. Since I bought this for my Dad's guest bathroom I'm going to add a liner just to be safe.I have been using this curtain for a few weeks now, and I really like it. Originally I thought that it might have magnets, but when it arrived I found I was mistaken. Instead, it has some type of firm, weighty pieces in the bottom edge of the curtain, and it turns out they work much better than my magnetic curtain ever did! The bottom doesn't ever really get stuck in an overlapped position the way my magnetic curtain did. It has also stayed stain-free so far. Overall I am very satisfied with this product.Thought I’d would be thick enough for you not to be able to see through, but you can see through it.When held up to the light, you can see straight through the black one. Plan to use this with an actual curtain if you have a light in the shower. Does appear to be of good thickness, material, and quality, just not for me. I choose to return and go with another product. Still would work in other applications though.My use for this is for the foot of my bed where my cat loves to sleep. I HATED the hair on my comforter/blankets....so I got a FABRIC shower curtain liner to spread on top of my comforter/blanket. I can EASILY brush it off....the cat hair(s) DO NOT STICK!!! Sorry, I cannot tell you if it molds easily or keep the bathroom dry.Nice product. Our shower curtain is a thinner fabric and this one in taupe compliments it nicely. Seems to be sturdy and should last a while.Love that i can take it off, wash it, dry it snd put it right back.I bought this a few months ago and it's still like it's brand new! It hasn't gotten dirty or smelly at all! It's pretty water resistant and easy to clean!Tis a shower curtain. Keeps the water in the shower and not dripping on my cats forehead. Have not yet tried using it as a solar blanket. I'm not sure how well it will work for a solar blanket as it was not at any point described as such. Fingers crossed. Update: Do not use this product as an emergency shelter. Will not keep you warm in -30 degree weather. Only suitable as a shower curtain and a good one at that.Bathroom floor was soaked after first shower. So no, not water resistant or proof.The curtain was soaked. Good thing I'm innovative, I had a can of water repellant shoe spray, sprayed the bottom two thirds of the curtain twice. Repels water great now. But just FYI. Also the "weights"in the bottom corners.... Don't weigh much. Curtain floats a bit.MEH.This was supposed to be waterproof and was supposed to be a shower curtain liner when the product arrived those items we’re whites out. Installed the curtain and after the first shower there was water that went through the curtain to the other side. False advertising plus blatant attempt to hide it. This is also not weighted at all unless you count the hem.Seems great so far but we have only had it for a few weeks. Definitely better than the traditional shower curtains. Haven’t noticed any signs of mildew or anything yet and considering the humidity levels that’s pretty awesome. Bought one a few years ago from Hudson Bay Company and I would compare the quality of this shower curtain to that one.It works well and looks great quality but I don’t think it’s waterproof because the tub ledge behind the curtain is always wet after a shower. Water doesn’t get on the floor though, so I suppose it is good enough for the price point. Probably more water resistant than anything else. As long as there are no puddles on the floor, I’m happy. Overall I’m happy with my purchase and would buy it again.
