Just like the ones I used in 1980! Great grips, although they do feel a little narrow as others have said. Of course, my hands are way bigger now.INSTALLATION TIPS: Some say insert a nickel in the end to keep the bar from tearing. Don't bother. It just results in ends that "wiggle" and don't feel solid.ALSO, use weatherstripping adhesive. Alcohol will work but the material these are made of is so stretchy that they will come loose after the first few rides. You'll just find yourself doing the job over again. Buy the glue and do it right the first time.Nice grips. 4 stars because they are slightly different shades.Old School Grips. Love them.I bought the red ones for my sons push bike because shpuldn't he have the best, and the ones he had were tearing his hands up. I had remember Oury from when I used to ride BMX in the late 70s. With they're stylish soft rubber these long lasting grips will give you excellent control and maximum comfort. Oury is the standard. Hint when installing them place a nickle in the end of each grip to prevent the bars from cutting through when you take a tumble.Easy, fast, just what I wanted. However, the rubber is soft and has already broken a the end.These are the classic BMX grips.HANDY TIP: I put a nickel at the end of the grip before I put it on my bike so when I lay it down the grips don't go through the bar end.These grips address soft and grippy. Really like the colors. Have bought yellow, blue and green. Pleased with every set!These are really great grips, wish I had these when I was a kid and actually rode and did tricks. My son loves them.
