tried this manufacturer for two reasons: all cotton product and thought the white waffle weave would go with any of my other kitchen items. Well, I suggest buying DII brand AND NOT THIS BRAND. When washed (cold water) it came out with ruffled, out of shape and grossly uneven edges. HORRIBLE in looks .... but oddly, the cotton (WHITE) comes out clean, and absorbs extremely well. If you wash a really icky pan, just run it under cold water and the gunk comes out. I have used these for a month and NO STAINS.LOOKS: 2 star FUNCTION: 5 star. PRICE 5 star. GIFTABLE: NO WAY. Your option. Good enough for every day cloths .... unless you are a Martha at heart .....Material is a little stiff.A dishcloth I could bleach, I’ve been searching for something like these for a long time!Even solid white dishcloths I’ve purchased can’t be bleached if they get stained without turning an dirty yellowish white and I’ve tried every white one I could find.Target used to sell a package of blue & white & yellow and white check dishcloths that you could spray with Clorox Clean up and the colors stayed true but they no longer carry them. .When one of these Sticky Toffee dishcloths gets stained with food, tea or fruit stains, (like the blackberries yesterday), I lay it in my sink and spray it with Clorox Cleanup with bleach, let it sit for a minute or three and voila a sparking white dishcloth and the blue edging does not change color or fade at all so they stay crisp and clean looking.I love these dishcloths and am reordering them now in case they stop making them. I don’t ever want to be without them!!They are thick enough to do a great job yet not so thick that my arthritic hands can’t wring them out enough to wipe counters.If you’re looking for thick these are not for you.If you’re looking for something you can bleach this is it!!Now if only they made white sheets that would stay white!!Nice towels but they come out of the wash very wrinkled. They are super absorbent so I really like them for drying dishes and pots and pans. Would buy them again!I loved the look and design of these and was expecting them to perform like the waffle weave dishcloths of yore. But they were not supple or absorbent enough for my liking; the fabric stayed rather stiff and inflexible so that the wet cloth left lots of streaks on dishes and counters. On the plus side, the many colors and stains food leaves behind on the cloths came right out in the wash, allowing the cloths to look brand new again after a washing. Bottom line, I wouldn’t buy again, but will use these until they wear out or I prefer to turn them into cleaning cloths.I desperately needed new kitchen dishcloths. There were so many to pick from online, but I liked the look of these, and they didn't disappoint. I like them because they wring out nicely so that I can wipe counters and table without too much moisture left on surfaces. Also, they have enough substance to them that I can use them to wash dishes and silverware with excellent results. Really glad I bought them.They work very well, however, it's hard to get stains out. (Even when u clean them with dish soap immediately after wiping up a spill)
