Zojirushi 64-Ounce Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Coffee Carafe with Brew-Thru Lid - Black | Keeps Coffee Hot for Hours | Perfect for Office, Home & Outdoor Use

The Zojirushi Stainless Steel Vacuum Carafe is an essential and one of my favorite pieces of coffee equipment I own. It's a carafe, so it holds brewed coffee. The lid allows you to place it underneath a tall coffee brewer or if, like me, you do it all by hand then you can place the cone directly on top of the lid and the liquid will flow into the carafe.The lid is also my biggest problem with the carafe - it doesn't completely close so if you accidentally knock over the carafe, a small amount of coffee will drizzle out.Despite this big sticking point, I still love this carafe, and for three major reasons:1. It will keep your coffee hot for a LONG TIME. I've gotten busy and forgotten some in it, and much later in the day my coffee was still hot.2. It's large! This carafe holds about 4.5 large cups of coffee - perfect to support my husband and I's two-cups-per-morning habit.3. Ridiculously easy to clean. I've had carafes that close and trying to clean them properly was always a major pain in the behind. One in particular had a rubber seal that always came off and was a nightmare to get back on, then later the opening mechanism broke. No need to worry about that on this, and no parts to worry about breaking on the cap!So, if you are a serious coffee addict this is an excellent carafe and I highly recommend it. It has it's flaws, but they are not enough that I think it takes away from a good rating. I've seen some people complaining about it breaking and things like that - and really those could all be avoided if they just read the 1/4 page care instructions that come with the carafe.Finally, yes there is a sticker on the back. Yes, it's a pain to get off - all paper stickers are. But you know how you make this problem a non-issue? Either accept it's presence (it doesn't take away from the carafe aesthetically) or buy some Goo Gone. Problem solved.
