Trashed my old GHD and LOVE this new lightweight flat iron. SO much easier to create waves in my hair or flatten frizz. I wish I had gotten this eons ago. My arm no longer gets tired using a flat iron.I purchased the flat iron in august 2021 and it stopped heating up last week. I couldn’t find anywhere that it has a warranty. So spent a lot of money for less than 6 months of use. ? Other cheaper brands I’ve had have lasted years. Wished it would have lasted longer for the money spent.I bought this for my wife because she wanted a flat iron. A friend who is a professional stylist suggest this brand. My wife loves it so far.She has fairly thin hair. With that being said, she takes as much as she can through the iron. It doesn't seem to cool down much between runs and she can straighten all her hair in about 15 minutes or less.The iron has a nice digital display that shows the temperature of the plates. You can make it warmer or cooler by a touch of a button. It takes about 30 seconds for it to heat up. The titanium plates are nice and smooth. From what I've read, the titanium will not crack like ceramic does and they will not dry your hair out as much as ceramic.My wife's hair looks great! The flat iron works well, as my wife's hair is noticeably straight. I'm glad I bought it for her.I wish I could give a review on different factors of this product... From a straightening standpoint this gets 5 stars- it did an excellent job, it sped up my straightening time and left my hair looking shiny and healthy vs. frazzled. From a construction point of view I wish I could give 1 star! I got my iron in April and last week accidentally dropped straightener (for the first time) from my hand while styling on the bathroom floor... And the thing broke it two! I understand marble floors are a hard surface, but being 5'5"- it's not a very far drop. I've had straighteners from (a very popular, expensive competing brand) that made all they way through my 20's and sustained countless (wine or vodka fueled) counter drops and hand fumbles from nights getting ready with girlfriends... I am really disappointed because I love the results, I just wish the construction quality held up to styling quality.I love this styling iron! However, the other day when I tried to turn it on it keeps saying Err (Error I’m guessing). Can anyone help? How can this be fixed?I have requested a refund or replacement for this horribly made product. I paid almost $140 for this straightener, and this morning it literally fell apart, sparked, and caught on fire while I was straightening my hair! It was as if actually exploded in the handle region. What is the world!?!?! Do NOT buy this!Best straightening device.Since I keep my flat irons for years because I don't use them everyday I didn't mind paying a higher price for this one. Otherwise it is a bit pricey. I like it because it does glide smoothly in my hair. Because of where the buttons are located, I do hit them all the time by accident, but other than that I have no complaints.
