I used this for electrolyte replacement when I am sick with nausea and vomiting. Or if I am having muscle cramps from dehydration.On a bike ride early this spring, I popped in a small town bike shop to ask a question and, as is my habit, looked around for some small purchase since they helped me out without charge. I had been craving grapefruit for some reason - after going through two bottles of lemon flavored electrolyte and here was GU Brew on the counter! I was very impressed with the overall flavor, and have been ordering it through Subscribe & Save.A month ago, I did a week long bicycle tour and one of the sponsor donations, Hammer, was liberally left around water coolers -- someone mentioned that the mango flavor was really good so I tried it. It was really good and for the last two days of the ride, I started using it more and more. And... I started feeling really dizzy and "off" ... when I compared ingredients between Hammer and GU Brew, I realized that the balance of minerals in GU Brew was keeping me better balanced. I'll stick with GU Brew for my long bike rides going forward! Great product!This is a wonderful drink to add to my hydration on a hot summer bike rideI have been searching for a light tasting electrolyte drink, since I don't need the extra carbs a lot of the time when training, and if I do I prefer gels, and this is just right. Too many things are too sweet for me, like Gatorade, or leave an aftertaste, but this doesn't. I would suggest making sure it is mixed with at least the full 16 oz. of water suggested and make sure it is fully dissolved, which can be seen when the drink is all one color, before drinking it. It seems too fizzy if you drink it right away. I am definitely buying more of this.I've been a fan of Gu for sometime. So when I heard of Gu Brew I figured it would be worth a try. The powder canisters they sell are a great end product but mixing it takes forever and it tends to clump up no matter what. The Gu Brew tabs are a great way to avoid that. Just drop a tab in your water, give it a few minutes and you're good to go. As far as the finished product, I've used this for marathon training for several years. It's works very well both during and post run. Gu Brew keeps you hydrated and feeling healthy and energetic. It's absolutely worth a try.Also, not that you'd ever have this problem, but Gu Brew is great for getting rid of hangovers. Who knew?The end of leg cramps! I bought these on the recommendation of my avid biking friend in Colorado who adds one to his bottle of water while biking. I often get leg cramps in the middle of the night as well as while exercising but haven't had any cramps at all since I first used these. I exericse AND live in Florida so dehydration is common if one doesn't keep on top of it. I only have one every other day and so far so good.All the flavors are good.These are my favorite "sports drink" when I run longer than an hour. By far the Strawberry Lemonade flavor is the best I've tried and I also really like the GU brand (energy gels, gummies, drink mixes).I like the portable container. I can easily throw this in my purse or keep it in my car without causing a mess with powders, etc.Overall a great product and again, the Strawberry Lemonade is the BEST flavor from GU in the sports drink market I've found.i was using gu brew in its powder form for a long time, always cleaing the leftovers of the sticky powder. the tablet option makes this part of my training a nicer one: just adding one tablet to the bottle and i'm ready to go. as for the carbo issue, i just eat a power snack every hour of cycling and so i'm not running out of fuel and still drink enough. for me, it's an elegant way of staying hydrated while enjoying the taste of the water.great taste and is comparable to Nuun, if not better and cheaper. will buy again.awesome
