I brew kombucha, water kefir, and kavass. These bottles do the job! Thick glass ensures that the pressure from all that CO2 will not turn the bottle into a bomb. I also like the vintage gaskets/bales, they add a cool little flare that people enjoy while (you guessed it) sealing and resealong all the precious fluid inside. You pay for quality. I do suggest that you get a bottle brush and some rubbing alcohol to sterilize.1 out of 12 came broken unfortunately. packaging not the greatest. Look like nice bottles tho, will update after we but a brew down.Some of the best bottles I've bought. They look great and seem like they will hold up well. Got them in two days. That was nice.Solid sturdy bottles. Nothing more nothing less. Using them for cider and carbonating to volume of nearly 4.2 with absolutely no fear of bottle bombs. A bit pricey but would order again in a heartbeat.BUY THESE BOTTLES!!!! Seal is super tight, Home Brew Ohio had them to me with 4 days :)Great bottles!
